Fibrous Casings
- Vista, Viskase and Teepack |
| Fibrous
casings are manufactured by forming a specially produced paper into a
continuous tube which is then coated with regenerated cellulose. These
casings are permeable membranes that allow the passage of moisture, air and
smoke. High mechanical strength combined with uniform size and excellent
permeability give optimum results and premium quality products. Strength and
seize control are particularly important for machine operations and for
sliced products. |
